- Upon arrival in Dakhla Oasis, visit Deir El-Hagar Temple, Al-Mozawaka Tombs and the Islamic Palace.
- On the way from Dakhla to Kharga, visit the Islamic and Pharaonic sites of Balat, Bashendi Village and the prehistoric remains.
- If time allows on the same day, visit Hibis Temple and El-Bagawat. If there is not enough time, these sites can be visited the following day before continuing to Luxor.
