From Bahariya into the desert
Beyond Bahariya the road leads to the Black Desert with its volcanic hills, Crystal Mountain, the Agabat Valley and finally the chalk formations of the White Desert, where most trips camp for the night.

When is the best time to visit Bahariya?

No. Bahariya is the oasis town; the White Desert lies further into the desert. Most White Desert trips pass through Bahariya on the way.
