Itinerary

Day 1 Cairo to Bahariya Oasis & White Desert

  1. Pick-up from Cairo by private, air-conditioned transportation.
  2. Approximately 4 hours drive to Bahariya Oasis.
  3. Lunch at a Bedouin-style hotel with a hot drink.
  4. Start the 4×4 desert safari.
  5. Visit the Black Desert, a dormant volcanic region.
  6. Visit El-Haiz Oasis and its natural spring, with the opportunity to swim and enjoy Bedouin tea.
  7. Visit Crystal Mountain.
  8. Visit the Valley of Wonders.
  9. Visit the sandy groves.
  10. Enjoy sandboarding.
  11. Continue through the Old and New Desert.
  12. Travel approximately 160 km through the Western Desert.
  13. Reach the White Desert before sunset.
  14. Photograph the sunset.
  15. Set up camp and prepare dinner.
  16. Dinner includes soup, vegetables, rice and grilled chicken over wood charcoal, along with Bedouin tea.
  17. Overnight camping under the stars.
  18. Camp includes Bedouin mattresses, blankets, sleeping bags, tents and modern equipment.

Day 2 White Desert & Return to Cairo

  1. Wake up early to photograph the sunrise.
  2. Enjoy breakfast at the camp.
  3. Take a short walk through the White Desert and explore its famous rock formations.
  4. Return to the hotel at around 11:00 AM.
  5. Lunch at the hotel.
  6. Depart for Cairo.
