Itinerary

Day 1 Cairo to Bahariya Oasis & White Desert

  1. Pick-up from Cairo at 7:00 AM.
  2. Approximately 4 hours drive to Bahariya Oasis.
  3. Lunch upon arrival.
  4. Visit the Black Desert, known for its volcanic hills and black peaks.
  5. Visit a small Bedouin village and enjoy the hot and cold springs of Bahariya Oasis.
  6. Visit Crystal Mountain.
  7. Continue through the Western Desert and visit the Gharabi sand dunes.
  8. Continue towards the White Desert area.
  9. Set up the desert camp.
  10. Enjoy and photograph the sunset.
  11. Prepare dinner and spend the night camping in the desert.

Day 2 Agabat Valley & White Desert

  1. Breakfast at the camp.
  2. Visit the peaceful Agabat Valley and enjoy a short desert walk.
  3. Lunch at Magic Spring (Ein El-Serw), surrounded by palm trees and small pools.
  4. Visit the Great Valley.
  5. Visit Groud Crown and enjoy sandboarding.
  6. Visit the Mangrove Valley or petrified forests.
  7. Continue to Rock Valley.
  8. Before sunset, reach the White Desert Reserve.
  9. Explore the famous white rock formations shaped by wind erosion.
  10. Set up camp and prepare dinner.
  11. Overnight in the White Desert.

Day 3 White Desert & Return to Cairo

  1. Breakfast around 7:30 AM.
  2. Optional early wake-up to enjoy the sunrise.
  3. Explore the surreal chalk formations of the White Desert.
  4. Return to the hotel at around 11:00 AM.
  5. Depart towards Cairo at around 12:00 PM.
